Off to the markets

I intended to go to the greenmarket in Union Square when we were in New York for some baked treats, but since we were in town for the holidays, it was temporarily replaced by a holiday market, which was a fortunate turn of events. We ended up taking advantage of the holiday pop-up shops during our time in the city, as my heart has a soft spot for handcrafted items. We had a grand time strolling through and ooh-ing at the local artists' handmade goodies at the Union Square Holiday Market and at Chelsea Market.

    Just love all these pictures! Looks like a great time. Looking to the sky and taking deep breaths to soak in God's awesome creation is one of my favorite things to do. You captured that feeling in the first picture so perfectly.

    Union Square holiday market! Miss it so much! So glad I'm get to get glimpses of NY from you. I get to go up in 2 weeks (I'm hosting a baby shower for a dear friend) so these previews and reminders are so great~! I think I can almost smell the city (the good smells.. that is (; )

    oooh I haven't gone to the market in ages. I'm so jealous, you take such gorgeous photos! I need more practice with my cam, this year I hope to become best of friends with my camy, hopefully I can take gorgeous photos like the ones you took by the end of the year. =) Happy new year sweetie!
