At the shore this time of year

The weather was too peachy keen not to vacation at sea during our anniversary getaway in Santa Barbara. What a blessing to enjoy the beach in the middle of March! We were in close proximity to the beaming sun, the cerulean shoreline, the fresh seafood, and the rentable surreys, so we partook in all the snazziness. I had never ridden a surrey until that afternoon. I was so giddy attempting to steer the rather clumsy contraption down the bike trail, yelping at every rocky maneuver, that the husband laughed and said, "Wow, your parents never took you to do something like this when you were little, huh?"
