Our littler love decided to make an earlier entrance into the world than we had anticipated! We are overjoyed to introduce Valor Zeal, born on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 4:46pm, weighing 6 lbs 9 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches long.
valor (noun) - boldness, integrity, determination, strength or courage
zeal (noun) - great dedication and energy in pursuit of a cause
Our prayer for our little mister is that he would be a man who fears God above all else, who lives a life of unabashed boldness and dedication for the gospel in this changing world. May he be zealous for the things of heaven rather than the things of this earth, and may his life be one of integrity and strength found in Christ alone, a great testimony to our gracious God and what He has accomplished for us on the cross.
We are all in love with our newest love, and I shall be back soon to share his birth story. Until then, we will be enjoying his sweet newness and littleness.
