I can't believe December is upon us; November flashed by. Last week was such a doozy that I'm finally getting around to updating now. We had a blessed Thanksgiving feasting on lunch at my mama-in-law's and dinner at our dear family friends' with cherished company. The next day, we packed our bags for a weekend in the mountains with our church family. Our setting was beautifully picturesque, enveloping us in crunchy leaves, stately trees, brisk chill, and even light snowfall. I don't remember the last time we bundled up in so many layers. It was a memorable time for us all. I'm thankful for how Thanksgiving prompts me to evaluate whether I've an attitude of gratitude for all God has graciously given me. Though I fail miserably, I'm ever grateful for forgiveness in the cross and the Spirit who works upon my heart. Praise God.
