Abundant grace

I'm still catching up on posting pictures from our trip to San Diego earlier this month. These snaps from our hotel melt my heart, partly because the kids had such a grand time, and also because I'm reminded of God's abundant grace. Taking a trip with two young children is no easy feat, and unfortunately, I was an impatient, grumbling, sinful mess throughout a good chunk of our stay. In such moments (which occur more frequently than I'd like), I'm convicted and floored that God would love one as unlovable as me. Praying that in my inadequacies and failures, God would show our kids how much they (and I!) need His grace that covers our sin, to the praise of Christ Jesus.
