Portraits per Serene's request
Alex guest preached at a church this past Sunday that meets in a turn-of-the-century brick building surrounding a beautiful courtyard. It was a lovely backdrop for portraits after service. Because Serene had requested to wear a dress (to twirl in) and new orange moccasins (she'd been requesting some in her favorite color for ages) that morning, she was keen on taking pictures. That hardly happens, so I was more than happy to oblige. These photos remind me of the established rhythm we have on Sundays to worship God together, whether with our local church or elsewhere with the universal church. For that I am grateful.
