We are overjoyed to welcome our newest little love to our family! Reverie Hope Hong was born Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:12pm, weighing 7 lbs 9 oz and measuring 19 inches long.
reverie (noun) [REHV-ree] - pleasant thoughts; daydream
hope (noun) [hōp] - a feeling of trust; confident expectation
Our prayer for our littlest love is that her thought life would exemplify Philippians 4:8, that her heart would contemplate about whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, and whatever is commendable. We pray she'd think about all aspects of life biblically, that she knows the gospel early on and applies its truths to the excellency and praise of the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray she'd be marked by biblical hope - a trust in the character of God, and confident expectation in His everlasting word and promises.
We are all so in love with our newest love. How timely that we get to celebrate spring and new life, for she ended up arriving on the first day of spring! We are soaking up all the sweet newborn snuggles around here.
So beautiful, God's gift for a couple who loves the Lord.
