When Alex declared we were off to the beach for family day yesterday, I was sure the weather would be too chilly. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there for it was a beautifully sunny yet breezy day to enjoy by the shore. It was such a fun adventure I snapped a bunch of photos to memorialize our first beach outing of the year. Serene had a blast applying what she's been learning, collecting seashells, frolicking under the sun, splashing in the sea, building sand castles, and writing in sand. Valor sported his sunglasses the whole time as a timid observer. Reverie practiced walking gleefully in the wide open expanse. I'm so excited for consistently warmer weather to enjoy outdoors, which always uplifts our moods. The kids are all over one, which makes being out and about easier, and therefore more enjoyable. Thankful to the Lord for Alex who strives to bless us with quality time, and for sweet summer adventures to come!
