Up in the Bay

A month ago today, we were up in the Bay. The kids did surprisingly well on the long drive up north. We spent the first leg of our trip in Oakland and San Francisco, where spending time with the Lums was the highlight. We got to stay with them, which made quality time all the more special. Other memorable moments: eating free jelly beans while observing food scientists at work, taking a ferry across the Bay and walking through the city with the kids, and traipsing about Fairyland. Verity was the sweetest baby on her first trip up north. Serene and Valor were quite agreeable as well. Reverie tried her best to adapt but her sleep-deprivation often got the best of her. We're hopeful family trips will only get better as the kids grow older. At least we pray so. Haha!
