Our favorite Brooklynites
We had a most lovely respite on the East Coast, though we are glad to be back in warmer, homey Los Angeles. Spending time with two of our dearest friends was the primary reason why we'd such a jolly holiday. Though they are native Californians, they’re now official Brooklynites who took much care to expose us to the quaint charm of their neighborhood, whose history-ridden brownstones and more tranquil atmosphere (compared to the city) tugged at our heartstrings as the husband and I explored Brooklyn for the first time. From grubbing at a time-stood-still 1930s diner, to gaping at their grandiose central park, to traipsing across the renowned bridge that connects it to Manhattan, I can now comprehend why so many folks are smitten enough with the precinct to make it the most populous of New York City’s five boroughs.
