The brightest lights at night
Jeepers, it seems as if Christmastide has arrived with a blink of the eye. It is a bustling time of year, and although I love that Christmas is a reason to get together, to engage in silly white elephant gift exchanges, to whip up tasty holiday cookies and entrees, to mail out sweet seasonal sentiments, to amble around the happiest place on earth, and to decorate with festivity, I am thankful for this book, which we have been using as an advent activity. It may not be the most conventional, but we are loving allocating time every evening to meditate and reflect on the advent of Jesus, or the first coming of Christ's birth and what that means for us. I am thankful for our precious Lord and Savior and His love for the world. Praying this would be the priority in my heart - for a simpler devotion to the true reason we celebrate Christmas, in the midst of prepping for manifold holiday parties, jaunts to the grocery store, and gift crafting. Happiest of Fridays before Christmas, cheery chums.

Yay, this picture alone just makes me so happy! I just can't believe that it is Christmas time already. I remember thinking the first few days I wanted Christmas to be here already and now that it is, I am wanting time to slow down. I just want everyone to enjoy this joyous time of year! Great post! :)
