The days plunge into darkness and penetrating chill so early these days that our weekly date nights have been characterized by staying in, vegetating on the couch, and popping in a movie. I've the sweetest chap of a husband because we usually end up watching my favorite movie musicals though he's had a history of abhoring the genre. I am thankful for his sacrificial love (and his blossoming preference for musicals now); he's been singing "Loverly" everyday since we watched My Fair Lady. The Mister really is a loverly fellow, and shows me love though I am so unworthy, which is a mere shadow of God's kindness towards me. I was reflecting on how I am filled with all of these characteristics, but am redeemed by God's grace through the cross. He is so good to us, isn't He? Happy Friday, ladies and laddies!

I'm happy to say my husband looks into all of the BBC series' we watch. He found Downton before I did. And, he loves all of this stuff too.
ReplyDeleteOn a seperate note. My daughter auditioned for a play a few months ago and another girl got up and sang "Wouldn't it be Lovely" she did it with the accent and all and she had the voice of an angel, it was awesome. I was so impressed. She was bout thirteen.
