At 16 weeks, Serene's all about her hands. She has a new found dexterity in sucking on her thumb (and index finger). Sometimes while gnawing mercilessly on Sophie the giraffe. Hands and drool are currently her two favorite things. When mixed together, slobbery digits are followed by goofy grins and excited squeals, per the last photo above, which turned out blurry because she was throwing her little body forward in gurgly glee. Which ended in a face-first landing on the bed. So cute. Which made me marvel at how quickly she's developing. The last time I took pictures of her in that white onesie in the photos above was when she barely turned one month old and it fit her loosely. Now she is nearly four months and it fits her perfectly. Stop the time, please!

  1. It's so fun to watch the journey. She's getting big so fast. I know this life all too well. :) They get big too fast. We have to seize the moments for sure. Take care,
