Teeny toadstools and primary colors
My auntie got Serene some amazingly soft, red leather Mary Janes for Christmas that nearly fit her now, and I had the hankering to conjure up a new hair clip to match (during my staycation weeks ago...no time to craft during normal life). I'm a big fan of primary colors, specifically shades of yellow, red, and blue. I also think red and white polka dotted toadstools are exceedingly endearing, so onto a golden felt bow one went. Except instead of polka dots, this toadstool features a bitty heart. When I was making it, I didn't realize how big it would be on Serene, but at least she will be able to wear it for a while! All the hair accessories I've made for her are hair clips, which are simple and fast projects that wrap up in 30 minutes or less. I temporarily attach the hair clips to some elastic so she can wear them as headbands for now since she still doesn't have much hair (though we often pray for her to grow some more locks!). She is such a squirmy ball of energy these days that these were the only non-blurry pictures I was able to snap last weekend while she was playing in her crib. Playing equals gnawing on a teether the entire time. Until she figured out how to pull her shoes off and start chewing on those instead. She has been into grabbing any shoes within sight to put in her mouth. Her own shoes, little kids' shoes, and even adult shoes that have been treading on every (unsanitary) walking surface imaginable. Which makes us laugh and tests our reflexes simultaneously. At least she doesn't pull off her hair accessories (yet?)!

So cute! Although it is just as big as her little head! Im sure once she gets older she will be better at keeping them on. :) and I didn't know you MADE these!,if I ever have a girl, I know who I'm coming to for baby accessories.
