Our duo

We had such a lovely family day last week. We strolled around here, looked into some antique shops, had a tasty Cuban lunch outdoors, and topped off the afternoon with ice cream from our favorite ice cream shop. We seem to have been doing errands on family days lately, so spending quality time together at a special place was such a treat. I had been frequenting the area since high school. Alex and I had gone on dates there before we got married. We took some of our engagement pictures there. Now it is so sweet to explore the area with our kids. I'm so thankful I remembered to bring my camera that day. Our little duo had such a grand time. Serene has gotten rather camera shy these days; Valor, on the other hand, flashes his killer crooked smile every time I snap a shot. I can't handle it!
