I've been neglecting to capture everyday moments. The everyday where the kids and I are in our pajamas all day. This was last week's attempt to document normal life. Now that I peruse these photos, I'm so thankful I get to watch our kids grow, witness every milestone, and intentionally disciple them. Time is the sweetest gift. Serene started with some relaxed homeschooling last week (though she officially begins pre-k next fall when she turns four), which she's loving not only for whetting her insatiable curiosity about the world, but also because we're spending focused quality time together. 18-month-old Valor is the sweetest, silliest little boy whose antics crack us up on the daily. He has abundant love to give to all (especially his stuffie Jean Valjean), and we are glad recipients of it. Alex has been extra busy, which means our entire little family has been on the go. In retrospect, we are grateful for the privilege we have to invest in others' lives, whether within our local church, or in our apartment community. I have been reminded lately that though the cares of this world are many, all the things of this world shall pass away, which tunes my heart to things eternal. Lord, grant me grace to be a good steward of the time and people you've given.
