Reverie is two weeks today. The past two weeks have been blissfully hazy where days blend seamlessly into nights. The newborn stage is so fleeting that I find myself lamenting that Reverie is not as teeny as the day before. So I snap picture after picture in a feeble attempt to hold onto her earliest days. Besides her announcement pictures and first day home with her siblings, this deluge of snapshots sums up her first fourteen days of life.

We are all so in love with this sweet baby who's stolen our hearts. She has already brought insurmountable joy to our little family. Serene and Valor can't get enough of her, despite their adjustment to a new little human being in their lives. I'm praying we all continue to establish a new normal graciously and patiently, for I have been exhibiting the opposite of grace and patience. Thankful for mercies that are new every morning, for this season that impresses upon my heart my sin and inadequacy, and how I need Jesus so. Life is pretty sweet.
