Our first beach trip of the year this past Monday made for a lovely memory. I hope to remember: Alex's servant leadership that ensured we all had a swell time; Serene's sheer giddiness encountering the sea through running, splashing, and jumping; Valor's precursory fear of unfamiliar sandy shores and lapping waves that gave way to decided affection; Reverie's giggly gurgling beneath the shade that characterized her introduction to the beach; and the fun we had with church family for which we are grateful.
