Our annual apple picking venture over the weekend coincided with the end of our unit on letter A. The unintentional field trip allowed us to observe the kids joyfully connect what they've read and learned with real life. To be frank, it wasn't the easiest navigating the orchard with three young children, but it was a memorable morning overall. Thankful we got to experience apple picking this year with my dear auntie and the kids' sweet friend.
