Reverie turns one

Because we threw a party for Reverie over the weekend, we had a normal day on Reverie's actual birthday a couple of days ago. Since she was born on the first day of spring, I made a floral macrame hoop a couple of weeks ago that served as a fitting backdrop for her birthday breakfast - a simple stack of banana macadamia nut pancakes made from a mix, embellished with banana slices and a flickering candle. She had no idea what was going on, oblivious to the birthday song and candle blowing. All she wanted was to scarf down some banana slices. Serene and Valor were all too willing to help blow out her candle and partake of her treat for her, though they did save her half a pancake. Thankful they're there for each other - haha!
