Summer was abuzz with activity, particularly with wedding season in full swing for Ah, Love. One of those weddings was my dearest friend's, which transported me over to London this past June for a week. The majority of the week was immersed in ravishing wedding festivities and cherished quality time with dear Janice. On my agenda-free days, I got acquainted with the refined city. It had been ten years since we first met, which was a lifetime ago - I was a single college graduate without pressing responsibilities at home. This time around, I was blessed to take a solo mom trip to Europe while Alex cared for the kids at home. It was the first time I had been away from all the kids for that long, which was a sweet, rejuvenating break. I was impressed by London's food scene, which seemed to have grown in quality since the last time I visited. Besides partaking in tasty eats and ambling around aimlessly, I watched Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a production that exceeded my expectations, partly because I was unimpressed by the screenplay I read a couple of years ago. I also went on the Harry Potter Studio Tour, a veritable blast. So fun to soak in all the magic! Incredibly blessed for an opportunity to visit my dearest friend's new home, get to know her community, and stand beside her as she became a wife. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip made possible by grace and mercy abounding.
