As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I ended up making a collection of wee fabric ornaments for our Christmas tree rather than buying them from the store because I love any excuse to use the feedsack fabrics in my stash. I reckon the fabric ornaments look cheery and lovely, and not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they're also durable and less likely to break like their fragile counterparts from the store. They were a good use of my fabric scraps; I went with fabrics in colorful, sweet patterns, but it would be fun to see themes in the fabrics, like holiday patterns, or Christmas colors, wouldn't you agree?

Materials:
Fabric squares (at least 4"x4"...the bigger the fabric square, the bigger your ornaments shall be)
Polyester fiber stuffing
Floral wire
Floral tape

Directions:
1. Wrap a fabric square around a ball of stuffing.
2. Pinch it shut with a couple of twists of floral wire.
3. Hide the fabric square ends by sealing them with floral tape.
4. Bend the end of the floral wire into a hook. Cut the rest of the wire off, which you will use for future fabric ornaments. Repeat the process until you've a lovely amalgamation of homemade ornaments!
