I've been so inspired by the superbloom adventures everyone has been going on that I told Alex I wanted to find wildflowers blooming near our home. We ended up stumbling upon a generous patch of wild mustard growing across from the local park we took the kids yesterday. It was a gorgeous, glorious display of creation we didn't hesitate to explore. Serene and Valor exclaimed over ladybugs, bees, butterflies, colored flora, and the wide expanse. I was so glad to wear Reverie in a sling for I'd missed babywearing. Doing so allowed me to simultaneously keep her close and be present with the older kids. Alex snapped photos to bless my mama's heart that has been hankering for pictures with our babies. I've been pleading with the kids not to grow up because I love babyhood so. At the same time, I'm excited to watch them bloom and develop. Praying to cherish this beautifully hard season while they're all little (currently ages three and under), and hoping they'll grow up close - close to the Lord, close to us, and close to one another.
