Letters to Reverie: 10 months

Reverie Hope at 10 months
My dear Reverie Hope,

You are in the double digits of babyhood and consequently eager to grow up. Your biggest triumph this month is pulling up everywhere you can. You squeal and grin as you stand proudly, gripping ledges and furniture for support. Your prerogative is to catch up to your brother and sister. They smother you all the time with hugs and kisses. You adore playing in their presence, though you have a strong case of separation anxiety from your mama. You're happiest snuggled close to me, especially in a wrap as you stare contently at the world around you. You're still sporting two bottom front teeth and no signs of other teeth yet. That doesn't stop you from eating everything within sight with gusto. You're nursing about 5 times a day and taking 3 naps a day. You suck your thumb only when you're sleepy and will do so until you fall asleep. You wear size 2 diapers, size 1/2 shoes, 3-6 month and 6-12 month clothing. You're a dream of a little baby, babbling and grinning at all who greet you. I can't believe God chose me to be your mama. We all adore you to pieces.

Love you so,
Mama

P.S. Reverie at 012, 345678, and 9 months. Plus, her birth story.
